Artrivet Forte 100ml

Artrivet Forte is a combination of dexamethasone and phenylbutazone gives the product very good analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Phenylbutazone is a potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with antirheumatic, analgesic and antipyretic effects. Like other pyrazole derivatives, phenylbutazone acts on the early stages of anti-inflammatory reactions, affecting the vascular response. Dexamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. Its activity is observed in the late phase of the inflammatory response, and it acts on the connective tissue, blocking the proliferation of fibroblasts and the formation of collagen. The combination of phenylbutazone and dexamethasone, which maintains the body’s tolerance to each component, provides a synergy of specific anti-inflammatory effects.

Indications: Treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. As an adjunct in the treatment of infectious arthritis. Treatment of inflammatory processes associated with osteopathy, neuropathy, mastitis, to reduce pain symptoms.

Phenylbutazone 200 mg
Dexamethasone 0.25 mg
Excipient q.s. 1 ml 

DESCRIPTION: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic effect indicated in the treatment of locomotor system diseases.

INDICATIONS for Artrivet Forte: Treatment of primary locomotor system diseases. Coadjutant treatment to the antibiotic therapy in infectious arthritis. Treatment of inflammatory processes in osteopathies, adenopathies, neuropathies, mastitis. To control congestive and painful symptoms associated to these processes.

TARGET SPECIES: Horses, dogs and cats.

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE: Intramuscular or intravenous.

POSOLOGY:
Horses: Adult animals: 30 ml/day 1st day, 20 ml/day 2nd day, and subsequently 10 ml/day, during 4-6 days.
Foals: 10 ml/day 1st day and 5 ml subsequent 4-6 days.
Pets: 1 ml/15 kg b.w. per day, during 5 days

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: No withdrawal period in use of Artrivet Forte. Do not administrate to horses if their meat will be used for human consumption.

SHELF LIFE: 3 years from production date.

COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION: 20 and 100 ml flasks.
