 Methio b12 250 ml is an adjunctive treatment for metabolic disorders and hepatorenal disorders in cattle, sheep, horses (or horses), pigs, dogs, cats and poultry.

Intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous or oral routes.

Composition of the METHIO B12 ® product

The composition for 1 ml is as follows:

Active substances:

• Acetylmethionine 250,000 mg:
• Arginine (as hydrochloride) 41.348 mg (i.e. 50 mg of arginine hydrochloride);
• Hydroxocobalamin (sf of acetate) 0.024 mg (i.e. 0.025 mg of hydroxocobalamin acetate).

Excipients:

• Sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219) 0.900 mg;
• Sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.100 mg

Pharmacodynamic properties of METHIO B12 ®

The pharmacodynamic properties of the product that we offer here for sale are as follows:

• Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) intervenes in the regulation of hematopoiesis, it would act in the synthesis of free protoporphyrin of red blood cells. It is also involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates (gluconeogenesis) and lipids, and in the biosynthesis of methionine allowing better growth and recovery from serious illnesses.
• Methionine is a sulfur amino acid playing a major role in the liver cell, which it protects against fatty degeneration.
• Arginine regulates the level of blood ammonia and acts as a hepatic purifier by promoting the synthesis of urea.
